New Haven Symphony Orchestra - The New Haven Symphony Orchestra (NHSO) first rehearsed in 1894 and gave its inaugural concert in January 1895. It is the fourth-oldest symphony orchestra to be formed in America. The orchestra's mission is to partner the community with education projects that inform and outreach programs that bring music to the widest-possible population. YPCCA - Young People's Center for Creative Arts - The Young People's Center for Creative Arts is a summer theater camp for youth in the central Connecticut area. For over twenty years, YPCCA has brought dance, acting and vocal training alive through workshops, cabarets, shows and master classes. Yale University Collection of Historical Instruments - This museum displays a collection of musical instruments and related items, and is particularly noted for their collection of string and keyboard instruments. The website includes an online sound gallery, and an “instrument of the month” article highlighting an instrument of special interest.
