Would you like to do something different this year to let your child's teacher know they are appreciated?  You can make a donation in honor of a teacher.  We will present the honored teacher with a certificate acknowledging your appreciation and donation.  We will also share your appreciation of this teacher with the superintendent of schools and the community.  All funds raised through the Honor Thy Teacher program will be used for grants to teachers and students in our schools.

The East Haddam Education Foundation is dedicated to enriching the educational experiences of our children, by providing money and resources to support academic and arts excellence in order to provide the students with extended learning opportunities beyond the conventional resources of the East Haddam district.

The East Haddam Education Foundation is a non-profit organization run by an independent Board of Directors consisting of parents, teachers, students, and citizens of East Haddam. Membership and support of the foundation is open to the community at large.

The foundation raises funds through membership drives, individual donations, matching grants, and fundraising events.

Grants are awarded as funding is available.
